2015 was a year of many changes both at the shop and personally. For the most part they were all good with the exception of the loss of my father, David. We lost my dad suddenly on October 26 at the age of 69. When I first became involved in the automotive field he was not too happy to say the least, but over time he realized this is what I loved and he supported me 100 percent by helping me open Youngtown Car Care back in 2004. We will miss his visits but we know he is always with us . At the shop we had a lot of positive changes. For one, this website. I never realized how important a web presence is, we now have regular hits to our site and we are moving up the lists on search engines. We have also been actively posting on our Facebook page. We post specials on that page, so be sure to "like" us. We upgraded some equipment this past year and added an new lift. The biggest change is the addition of a new employee. We hired a young Universal Technical Institute graduate and he is fitting in well. Andy is from Kingman where his dad and grandpa run a shop and we are happy to have him join our staff. My son Dylan felt a little threatened at first, feeling like Andy was taking his place, but they have since become buddies. We will see how this works out with winter break starting Monday and Dylan chomping at the bit to spend time working at the shop. Another big change this year is our new partnership with Castrol. We now stock the complete line of Castrol oils and offer a FREE Roadside assistance program that covers towing, flat tires, lock out and any other roadside emergencies. This program is free with qualifying oil changes. I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and we hope to see you all in 2016.
