It's my favorite time of the year. The days are getting shorter, the mornings are getting cooler and the leaves are starting to change color, except here in Phoenix. Your vehicle notices these changes too so this is the time to check your battery, exterior lighting and get your car ready for winter. This fall we have a lot of exciting things going on at Youngtown Car Care. As you know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For the month of October we will be donating a portion of all sales to the Provision Project. The Provision Project is a local organization whose purpose is help women financially during treatment. Being diagnosed and treated for cancer is hard enough, but to have to choose between eating or paying your electric bill is a decision no one should have to make. On October 5th I will be a guest host on the Automotive Know How Show on 1100 AM at 4.00 pm. Tune in as it is sure to be an entertaining and informative show. This year we will be displaying the racecar at the Cruise on Central, October 10th from noon to 8pm. We will be representing Youngtown Car Care at the Auto Repair Arizona tent (www.autorepairarizona.com). Moving on to actually racing the car, on October 17 at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park we will be competing in the biggest local event of the year. The Halloween Havoc is a great event and my son Dylan and I will both be racing our cars. Come on out , I guarantee you will have a great time. November will be busy too, Dylan and I will be helping out at the Paul Horton Charity Car Wash (more details to follow). Lastly, for the month of November, we will be having a toy drive benefiting Toys for Tots at Youngtown Car Care. We are offering 10% off any purchase with a new unwrapped toy ( maximum discount of $100.00 excludes tires). We will also be raffling off a few prizes as well. All we ask is you bring a new unwrapped toy to help the less fortunate this Holiday Season.
